Leading European pharmaceuticals group uses SafeGuard solutions from Utimaco to ensure group-wide security for its computers

Utimaco achieves a major order of Euro 1.5 million for its SafeGuard Easy security software and its SafeGuard CryptoServer hardware security module

Oberursel, Germany, 15th May, 2008, Utimaco – The Data Security Company, has achieved a major order of Euro 1.5 million for providing SafeGuard solutions to a leading European pharmaceuticals group. SafeGuard Easy security software is to be installed on every mobile computer across the group, to protect the data stored on these devices from being lost or stolen. This security concept for mobile computers is then rounded off by the implementation of SafeGuard CryptoServer hardware security modules in the group's computing centre. The SafeGuard CryptoServers make it possible for the world-wide support team to use cryptographic SafeGuard keys in an extremely secure way within the challenge-response procedure to get laptops up and running again if their users forget their password.
