SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10

SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10 is a hardware security module (HSM) with FIPS standard certification. SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10 is optimized for securely storing keys and certificates, and also for generating random numbers.

Main product characteristics of SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10:

• Supports all commonly available symmetrical and asymmetrical cryptographic procedures and protocols (including elliptical curves)
  Stores keys and certificates in tamperproofed environment
• The HSM can generate up to 100 signatures per second
• Can be integrated in any network, from PC to mainframe systems and ideal for use in computing centers
• Requires little effort to bring into operation, or for (remote ) administration and maintenance
• Certified in acc. with FIPS 140-2 Level 4, and approved by the ZKA (German central credit committee)

The software architecture of Utimaco's HSM product family is uniform and guarantees easy and problem-free upgrade from SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10 to CryptoServer CS50.

SafeGuard CryptoServer CS10 is especially suitable:

• If a cost-efficient solution is required for securely storing keys and certificates.
• If the expected quantity of transactions is limited to a maximum of 6,000 transactions (symmetrical algorithms).
• If the maximum number of signatures expected is 100 signatures per second.
• If a HSM solution is needed for generating individual keys.
• If a fully functioning HSM must be used in a project's pilot phase.
• If only a limited quantity of transactions are required in the implementation phase of a business process, and there is a need to guarantee that the HSM solution used can be upgraded simply and seamlessly.
