Professional careers

The specialist career offers our technical specialists interesting opportunities. The aim here is to enable our technical specialists, who are not aiming for a managerial career, to develop their career as specialist via career paths within Utimaco. The reason for this is that we want our highly qualified specialists to remain loyal to the company and want to make Utimaco appealing with a view to attracting new specialists.

During the course of the specialist career our staff not only reach the next career step within their team, they are also able to broaden their horizons to cover various sites and departments e.g. from hotline support engineer through to QA engineer or Systems Engineer in pre-sales.

We are concentrating our efforts on setting up so-called success-critical competences. These are competences derived from our corporate strategy that are key to the success of the strategy. Example: "Art of engineering", i.e. the ability to develop highly integrated solutions.
