Olaf Siemens signs responsible for the development of the SafeGuard product portfolio. He has joined Utimaco in 2006 as Executive Vice President Software Development. On 1 May 2008 Olaf Siemens joined the board of directors of Utimaco as the Chief Technology Officer.

Prior to this position, Olaf has been the COO of the security start-up Innominate Security Technologies AG. Before, he had held multiple positions at Gauss Interprise AG (today OpenText) as COO and CTO. Among other duties, he was responsible for the global product development and support based in Hamburg, Germany and Irivine, California. Prior to that, he was in charge of product development and product management for a business unit of Siemens AG. During his time at Siemens and Innominate, Olaf pioneered the development of security applications in the area of secure eCommerce and endpoint-security solutions.

Olaf Siemens holds a Master Degree in Information Technology from the Technical University Berlin.
