Stephen Higgins is in charge of Utimaco’s world-wide professional services team offering world-class consulting and implementation services for the SafeGuard product line. He joined the company as executive vice president in October 2008. Prior to Utimaco Stephen worked as global practice director at EMC Corporation where he expanded the company’s customer footprint by growing EMC’s Infrastructure Consulting and EMC’s Information Security Practices. In this role he developed and delivered multiple service offerings centered on storage and security shaping EMC’s overall business continuity and information security market position. Stephen has also led the development, sales and delivery of new service offerings for IBM Global Services where he held several sales and management positions. Specifically, he was a global segment executive in IBM’s Business Continuity and Recovery Services organization.

Stephen holds a B.S. in Economics and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and received several management and industry trainings at IBM, EMC, Harvard University among others. He is contributing author on numerous topics on Business Continuity, Security, Corporate Governance and Compliance.
