Technical Account Manager (m/f/x)

Your tasks

  • Implement Lawful Interception and Data Retention projects from requirements to completion and final customer acceptance:
    • Lead and drive the project team, attend customers and partners being single technical contact person for all project related tasks;
    • Determine clear project and feature requirements by questioning customers, partners and Utimaco Product Management;
    • Discuss requirements and negotiate to determine resources, timescales and cost of delivery;
  • Provide technical Pre-Sales support to Utimaco Sales Account Managers for technical aspects during the Sales process:
    • Collaborate with Utimaco Sales Manager to clarify customer requirements and with Product Management in case of general technical questions;
    • Propose solutions based on the Utimaco’s product portfolio, create solution descriptions as additional part of the commercial offer;
    • Answer RFI and RFQ on technical level and present and discuss the proposed solution with the customer;
  • Provide technical post-sales support to customers and partners for technical incidents:
    • Ensure incidents are managed and updated regularly;
    • Document and record all activity and communication with customers over telephone and email according to departmental standards of quality;
    • Provide customer trainings and on-site installation support
  • Develop and drive internal relationships with Management, Sales, Project Management, Product Management and R&D:
    • Provide timely and accurate project reports;
    • Identify technical requirements and engage Sales, Marketing and R&D to provide support throughout the sales cycle and beyond.

Your profile

  • Academic degree in a technical discipline with professional experience as an IT specialist, ideally gained in the telecommunication environment;
  • Experienced in customer-facing Project Management, Technical Account Management role or similar defining levels of service delivery;
  • Project Management qualification (IPMA, PMI, Prince) is a plus;
  • Very good technical understanding of telecommunication networks;
  • Ability to recognize and understand our partner and customer needs;
  • Confident dealing with system stakeholders at all levels of the business and able to explain with clarity and accuracy to both technical and non-technical audience;
  • A full driving license is required;
  • Readiness to do international business trips as required;
  • Collaborative, solution-oriented and conscientious way of working, self-motivated, enthusiastic, but risk aware and able to deal with conflicts;
  • Excellent verbal and written English communications and presentation skills.
