Deine Aufgaben
- Configure and manage network infrastructure components, including Juniper SRX Firewalls, Juniper QFX/EX switches, and Microsoft Azure. Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of the network.
- Oversee firewall systems to maintain a secure and robust network environment.
- Provide mechanisms for effective identity and access management.
- Monitor the health and traffic flows of the network infrastructure.
- Improve and optimize network infrastructure using Infrastructure-As-Code practices.
- Configure and manage VPNs, ensuring secure communication channels.
- Manage Microsoft Azure network components, work with DNS configurations, and implement best practices.
- Configure and optimize Reverse-Proxies like Traefik and HAProxy.
Dein Profil
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; master's degree or equivalent experience preferred 5+ years of experience in network engineering, with a focus on configuration and management.
- Proficient with Juniper network equipment (SRX Firewalls, QFX/EX switches), Microsoft Azure, DNS, Reverse-Proxies (Traefik, HAProxy), Terraform, and Ansible.
- Knowledge of networking protocols (BGP, RIP, OSPF), tools (NMAP, Wireshark), and expertise in configuring VPNs.
- Demonstrated expertise in monitoring and logging technologies, preferably Sensu, Grafana Loki, and OpsGenie.
- Experience with automation tools, particularly Ansible.
- Familiarity with global data center environments and security concepts.
- Strong expertise in network configuration, firewall management, Infrastructure-As-Code practices, VPN configurations, and cloud components.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (English), listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills.
